Michael Colleran, M.A., CCC-A

Clinical Audiologist
 
Michael Colleran completed his Masters in audiology in 1976 at the University of South Dakota. He is board certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and specializes in adult testing, balance and adult hearing instrument fittings. Michael Colleran is a hometown boy who came back to his roots to provide audiology and hearing services to his community.

Julia A. Jones, Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology
 
Dr. Jones joined Audiology Associates in 1992. She completed her doctorate in 2007 at PCO, now Salus University. Dr. Jones specializes in pediatrics as well as balance issues. She is board certified by ASHA and by the American Board of Audiology. Dr. Jones and her husband, Scott, have one grown son and a number of furry four-footed friends from the local Humane Society.

Laura A. Mergen, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology
 
Laura was born and raised in Cedar Falls, IA. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Sciences and Disorders from the University of Iowa in 2007, then went on to complete her Doctorate of Audiology, also from the University of Iowa, in May 2011. Her specialties include Adult Diagnostics, Hearing Aid Fittings and Balance Disorders. She looks forward to meeting new friends and neighbors, and becoming a valuable part of the community of Pierre.
 

Susan Colleran, HIS

Hearing Instrument Specialist
 
Susan Colleran, wife of Michael Colleran, has worked with Audiology Associates in various capacities, including business manager, since 1989. Most recently, Susan completed training as a hearing instrument specialist through the International Institute for Hearing Instruments Studies in 2002. She is licensed by the state of South Dakota Board of Hearing Aid Dispensers and Audiologists. Susan is an avid reader and enjoys camping.
